Yep that will definitely do it. Just be paid sure you choose full format when you reinstall windows. Also be carefull what you pick up from your old system you never know what the virus have attached itself to.

No service pack 2 ,is the answer to the poor window OS flaws,which like you stated,it does fix some virus problem but it is not designed to do that but to close the gaps moved out by Microsoft designers... to go subsidise in and allow virus maker put a virus in your system, thus , buy virus protection. in a minute the only reputable protections come from symantec near the name of Norton anti virus.However, service pack 2, if is not contained by your windows OS, you obligation it, so by going to the Microsoft site, you can down load it for free, consequently install ,done.
