Will Windows Vista work next to any motherboard?

I hold a brand new ECS motherboard. PT890T-A (V1.0) (see the relationship below) and it says on the site designed for XP however I want to put Vista on it within the future. Will Vista work near any motheboard? I have a 3.06 GHz processer, 2 GB of RAM, 256 MB video card, 500 GB tricky drive, and pretty much everything I need to run it but will it work on any motherboard? Check the site for more info. I want to put Vista on it when SP1 comes around. Thanks for any backing.

The put somebody through the mill is your system's capacity, processor speed, and RAM. Microsoft identify the recommended capacity, speed, etc and the minimum. If your system does not enjoy the recommended (not the minimum) you will likely not resembling the slowness.

Check out the recommendations from Microsoft and your system and you will know.

If the processor meet the speed, and RAM does not, you may be able to upgrade RAM.
YES.operating system will not conflict near it.if it works for XP and you have the stats you right to be heard you have...it will work fine...newly worry roughly the minimum stats to run Vista...
