Sure did roughly 2 months ago and it's working great. A dead tricky drive set me back rather bit. I recommend getting a retail Hard Drive and not OEM because they ship it to you wrapped in bubble wrap alone. Specs:

I recommend getting an intel core 2 duo processor (the e6600 is very popular presently for it's overclocking capabilities)
yes i did in 2 DAYS!! ha ha !
i not sure what you scrounging but if your talking around an actuall processor its a pretty hard point to do without a great deal of resources.
