C,D,E Drive is not initial?

Dear Friends,

In my system There are 3 drives i.e C:, D: , E:.If I Double click to that drive, it give message Access Denied .And If I Right click that drives and open ,consequently it is opening.

So is it problem related to Virus or System ?

Please pass me a solution.

Regards,

Mahesh

C,D,E Drive is not initial?

Yes its a result of a virus,

do this

go to folder option => view =>

consequently tick off covering protected operating system files

you'll get a notice , click YES

Now open your drives (C,D,E...) you'll see an autorun folder is there contained by each drive. delete the autorun files or start on them & delete the contents in it.

after reboot & see, It wont solve your problem until You reboot. Now you can undo that silver you made in folderoptions ( tick that chance U ticked off previously )

p.s - if you can remove the contents of the autorun folder then they are manifest as read only you can try to remove the read only pick in them or delete the autorun folder.

CHECK MOUSE SETTINGS FOR THESE DEVICES
Check what's the standard action on double clicking drives. Has to be the round one.
sounds like password problems to me.when you right click it give you permission to use them.if you are the adminastrator and the singular one using the unit you can delete the sign surrounded by password.at users in the control panel.
