Anybody could find the channel to install the audio driver for the compaq presario SR2011WM-B?

Windows probably detected the nouns device and installed it incorrectly when you installed Windows XP. The device then become disabled until uninstalled and then reinstalled. The device will still be disabled if you install the correct drivers up to that time uninstalling the disabled device first.

This will probably do the trick...

Go into control panel / performance and maintenence / system / hardware / device arranger

See if there's a device with a ! or some other threatening symbol next to it... Right click on that device and uninstall it. Then try to install the correct driver or it may install itself correctly when you restart the computer.

Good luck!!! :)
