Can my XPS 400 run vista ably?

I enjoy a Dell XPS 400 from 2004, here are the specs

3.2 Ghz 800 MHz FSB (32 bit)

1 gig of strike 800 FSB

750 gig complex drive

GeForce 6800 256 video ram ( Not shared beside ram)



So i was looking at but window vista home preium. The tool says that it would run fine. But i want to no what have a 64 bit prossesser adds the this.

Im looking at buying a GeForce 8800 GTX, and 2-4 gigs of 1 GHz hit.

Should i buy a 64 bit prosseser? Does it requre a new motherboard?

i would bring another gig of strike but honestly nothing runs vista capably and XP will be faster on any given machine ..
I run Vista on my notebook and I have a 3.33ghz cpu 1.5ghz of knock against 533 fsb and a nividia gforce 6200 display adapter. And mine runs great and smooth!!! Love it just engender a pass reset disk or you will be on the phone for 5 hrs. with the sole purpose to find you have to format!
