Can you Insert a DDR2 KINGSTON RAM contained by a DDR Slot ASUS Mother board?

if you can insert it,

will it work even the speed drops from 533 to 400mhz?

Can you Insert a DDR2 KINGSTON RAM contained by a DDR Slot ASUS Mother board?

No, you cannot even insert a DDR2 RAM within a DDR slot or vice versa since the physical architecture of the two are not the same. DDR RAM modules have 184 pins while DDR2 modules have 240. Therefore, trying to insert one surrounded by a slot built for the other will severely damage the modules and the slot. So, don't try it. You'll involve to buy a new motherboard which supports DDR2.
No. DDR2 and DDR are physically different.
Not a dutiful idea, you might ruin the RAM / Main-board / or both.
As already mentioned they are 2 very different animals, both physically and electronically. You can't even put a DDR2 into a DDR slot unless you break something, as one of the notch for keying into the push socket is in a different place.
no it wont fit contained by the slot and also it wont work even if it could fit.

sorry.
Only if your motherboard supports both memory types you can do so (very few DO support DDR and DDR2 RAM).

In case your motherboard does support both memory types you can singular have 1 considerate installed at any given time.
