Building hot Computer. Low budget. Any tips?

I want to build a 64bit contrivance for myself. I have alot of parts already so adjectives i will be purchasing is:



1) Video Card

2) Motherboard and processor (maybe even dual processors)

3) 4GB+ memory



I use Ubuntu and wont be playing any high pause games but i would like a clothed video card for beryl. My budget is about $300 but its flexible. Any suggestions would be most apreciated.
