Building a computer?

I be wondering if anyone out there have a ASUS P5B Deluxe Mother Board and if so how does it perform? I plan on installing 2; 720GB thorny drives with a 650 watt power supply. Also be wondering which processor and memory i should use.

ASUS mobos are very stable and I would recommend them. I would use Kingston memory. Check your power requirements, it looks similar to you may be a bit under powered.

i would walk with adual core 4-sure! any pentium d or core 2 duo. i just built a core 2 e6300 but am still using my memory from antiquated computer, and xp pro x64 and i love it. coupled with some ddr2 800 contained by your board. oooohhhh! goosebumps. as for the memory i got a physical goood deal at fry's.com on ocz ddr2 800 platinum that i couldnt miss up. i also like kingston and corsair here are some option.
