Adding push to my computer?

be4 i have 512kb of ram 256 kb respectively and i have 4 slots i basically 1 gig of bump 512kb each and i put it within together with the 512 and i get 1.5 gigs but my computer runs the same but when i filch out the orginal 512kb and leave the 1 see that i just bought by itself it runs faster why is that??

Adding push to my computer?

powerfully for one thing ur laptop probably has duel furrow ... that means it wishes a pair of matched hit in the two dual low slots ... add more and it runs slower .... and if the knock against is mismatched speeds it will run at the speed of the slowest stick ... so ... the fastest settup imo for ram that nearby is is 2 512 sticks .... having more push than 1 gig if u dont NEED it in fact runs slower period ... run into is NOT the cure-all for speed ... thats a myth ... ram speeds up applications loading times IF u call for the extra ram ... system speed on benchmarks in actual fact drops with a huge pile of bump ... it doesnt get faster ..again, thats a myth ... but u requirement dual channel and u want at least 1 see ... 2 gigs if ur a gamer ... more than that and ur wasting ur time and kidding urself ...
I give attention to it's best to have duplicate speed in every slot. Those two 256s are probably requiring more work than they're worth.
it's possible that the frail one may be damaged a short time, or the old and contemporary aren't fully compatible, or even the speed of the old one is slower. See what happen if you put the old one closest to the cpu, if that works the matured one is probably slower.
More than likely the computer run on matched sets. Mis matched sets don't work very well together.
